It’s December and time to catch up on a couple of months of missed Blogs dedicated to my wife Cynthia, forever missed and remembered🌠
Shining Star
Got my Christmas tree up last Sunday!
A lot of work.
Could not do it on my own.
Some good friends came to help me.
Cynthia loved putting up the tree💞
I would do the simple work of getting it set up and ‘sorta straight’ in the stand.
She would do the hard work of carefully selecting the appropriate-coloured bulbs, ribbon, and ornaments, then placing them all in just the right position.
I stood well off to the side, out of harms way!
Until the final moment, when it was my self-appointed task to place ‘the old tin star’ on the top of the tree.
It was always the moment when Cynth gracefully stepped aside and encouraged me to shine with that final act of decorating the tree to completion!
It was HER way.
A shining star.
Encouraging me and so many others in her life to shine and live ‘their better selves’🌠
